The Civil War in Skyrim was ended by the Dragonborn, who became High Queen. Alduin was defeated. Jarl Balgruuf was crowned Emperor, reigning ten years, until his family were all mysteriously assassinated. He married the Dragonborn near his death, in a seemingly bold political move against the Thalmor, naming the Dragonborn Empress. The White-Gold Concordat is no more.
